Quando anoitece

contorno no meu rosto

o perfil do dia que passou

e tudo o que não sou

me contradiz.

Quando anoitece

atravesso um labirinto

caiado de paixão,

pretexto circular

da minha fé.

Quando anoitece

faço emergir do abismo

um instinto quase secreto

e fujo da noite,

em vertiginosa simetria com o vento,

como se fosse um equívoco

esperar a madrugada

com a mesma lentidão

de um acto íntimo.

Contra um muro branco

esta lonjura gémea do vento.

Uma casa ou um regaço

alternando a desordem

de corpos molhados

numa dicotomia simulada

quando o prazer

é o reflexo nítido

de um coágulo de azul

queimado sobre madrepérolas.

São corais que no fundo da água

não quebram as vagas silvestres.

Nasci agora

enquanto uma andorinha

baloiçava no espelho

atravessado de pólen.

Sou, sílaba por sílaba,

o luto ou a negação

de desumanos deuses.

Quando anoitece ...

Bonsoir

Ton vehicule n'a pas l`air d`avoir de passager

Peux-tu: Veux tu me recevoir

The Ambition Bird

So it has come to this

insomnia at 3:15 A.M.,

the clock tolling its engine

like a frog following

a sundial yet having an electric

seizure at the quarter hour.

The business of words keeps me awake.

I am drinking cocoa,

that warm brown mama.

I would like a simple life

yet all night I am laying

poems away in a long box.

It is my immortality box,

my lay-away plan,

my coffin.

All night dark wings

flopping in my heart.

Each an ambition bird.

The bird wants to be dropped

from a high place like Tallahatchie Bridge.

He wants to light a kitchen match

and immolate himself.

He wants to fly into the hand of Michelangelo

anc dome out painted on a ceiling.

He wants to pierce the hornet’s nest

and come out with a long godhead.

He wants to take bread and wine

and bring forth a man happily floating in the Caribbean.

He wants to be pressed out like a key

so he can unlock the Magi.

He wants to take leave among strangers

passing out bits of his heart like hors d’oeuvres.

He wants to die changing his clothes

and bolt for the sun like a diamond.

He wants, I want.

Dear God, wouldn’t it be

good enough to just drink cocoa?

I must get a new bird

and a new immortality box.

There is folly enough inside this one.

Não consigo parar de ouvir a "Come Back To Camden" do ultimo album do Morrissey. É perfeita

Come Back To Camden

There is something I wanted to tell you,

It's so funny you'll kill yourself laughing

But then I, I look around,

And I remember that I am alone, alone. For evermore

The tile yard all along the railings,

Up a discoloured dark brown staircase

Here you'll find, despair and I,

Calling to you with what's left of my heart, my heart, For evermore

Drinking tea with the taste of the Thames,

Sullenly on a chair on the pavement

Here you'll find, my thoughts and I,

And here is the very last plea from my heart

My heart. For evermore,

Where taxi drivers never stop talking

Under slate grey Victorian sky,

Here you will find, despair and I

And here I am every last inch of me is yours, yours. For evermore

Your leg came to rest against mine,

Then you lounged with knees up and apart

And me and my heart, we knew, We just knew. For evermore

Where taxi drivers never stop talking,

Under slate grey Victorian sky

Here you'll find, my heart and I,

And still we say come back, come back to Camden

And I'll be good, I'll be good, I'll be good, I’ll be good

CREPUSCULAR

A incerteza cai com a tarde

no limite da praia. Um pássaro

apanhou-a, como se fosse

um peixe, e sobrevoa as dunas

levando-a no bico. O

seu desenho é nítido, sem

as sombras da dúvida ou

as manchas indecisas da

angústia. Termina com a

interrogação, os traços do fim,

o recorte branco de ondas

na maré baixa. Subo a estrofe

até apanhar esse pássaro:

com o verso, prendo-o à frase,

para que as suas asas deixem

de bater e o bico se abra. Então,

a incerteza cai-me na página, e

arrasta-se pelo poema, até

me escorrer pelos dedos para

dentro da própria alma.

e este, e este?
